Why discussion hasn't opened yet: a forum that opens empty tends to stay empty, or fills quickly with low-evidence noise. Paradigm is deliberately building the research base first — papers, Policy Watch entries and Emerging Questions — so that when discussion opens, it starts from something worth responding to.

Moderation model: submissions will be reviewed before publication, not after — pre-moderation rather than after-the-fact removal. This is slower to open but avoids the alternative of publishing first and cleaning up later, which tends to erode trust faster than it builds engagement.

Submission process: practitioners will submit a question or contribution through a structured form (an early, inert version is shown alongside this text) rather than free-text posting. Structure isn't there to gatekeep — it's there to make sure a submission arrives with enough context to be genuinely useful to other readers.

Evidence expectations: contributions grounded in direct professional experience, named sources, or specific official guidance will be prioritised for publication over general opinion. Professional opinion is welcome and clearly labelled as such — see Editorial Standards — but it sits differently to evidenced contribution, and both will be visibly distinguished once discussion opens.

Professional standards: the Forum is a professional space, not a general public comment section. Contributions are expected to be constructive, specific, and focused on genuine implementation questions rather than complaint or promotion — including of Arena's own products.

Community rules: disagreement is welcome and expected — Paradigm exists partly because there often isn't a single settled answer. Personal attacks, unsupported claims presented as fact, and anything that could identify an individual child are not.

Review process: the same single-author-review limitation disclosed in Editorial Standards applies here during this initial phase. As the Forum opens more broadly, expanding review capacity is part of the same explicit goal.
